DonMac's debut album "The Long Way to Tuesday" is the chase that no one talks about — the unremarkable day you'd repeat forever with the right person, and every wrong turn you took getting there.

Across seventeen tracks, The Long Way To Tuesday runs the whole arc: the swagger you wear when you avoid facing the truth (Dirt Road Drip, Built Different, & Walked In Like A Rumor), the late night calls you know you shouldn't make but still do (1-2-3 Whiskey), the feeling you can't replace when you're with the right person (Nothing Hits Like You), the wreckage of leaving first (Matches and Gasoline), and the recognition that growing doesn't mean running (Rearview Holy).

The album blends hip-hop delivery and drums with modern country songwriting. The result: 808s under steel-string guitar. Written like a confession, built to be sung back.

DonMac blends his father's country roots with his mother's Memphis soul. He never saw a reason to choose one way or the other. The result is 808s under steel-string guitar and verses that read like things you're not supposed to say out loud. His debut album The Long Way to Tuesday, was released June 2026 on Back Nine Records. The second album is currently being worked on.
